Cute story

We are back in Sapphire Falls, this time with Amber Myers, and Chad Powers. These two went to grad school together in NYC. During which time they have secretly crushed on each other.
Both are nerdy, and a little short on people skills. When Amber gets a job in Sapphire Falls, the town where two of her sisters are currently living with their significant others, Chad applies as well, gets the job and moves in with his aunt’s family.
One of the cutest scenes are when Amber’s sisters and Chad’s cousins decide that their relatives need a makeover. And wow, did they blossomed.
Watching these two interact was cute , and sweet, making it a fun story and a good addition to the series.
Though the characters were younger than what I normally like to read, the author managed to keep even her older readers entertained.
Lastly , the narrations by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel brought the story to life in the audio version.

Romantic science geeks!

I listened to the audio version of this book. I have always enjoyed the writing of Rachelle Ayala. I especially love that she tends to throw in handicaps or special challenges for her characters and shows us that they can have a normal life. In this book the character of Chad had a stutter to deal with. Amber and Chad BOTH had a different challenge to deal with--they were both science geeks. Yeah, science geeks!
This book was funny, informative and romantic. It was also an easy read. I had forgotten that I'm not particularly fond of the narration chosen for the female parts. I still find her to be overly dramatic, but that's just my taste.

Awesome!

This is a beautifully written story and there had to be a lot of research done to compete it. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are absolutely shining stars when they do the narration! I loved it!

Hearts on Fire

The journey of Amber and Chad is a sometimes harrowing and sometime heart-breaking, but it is always one that is full of passion and longing. These two souls busy with life and yet wanting so much don't know how to make the more part happen. Friends and family try to help guide them in this next part of their life after graduating college, and yet their hearts are looking in the opposite direction knowing what is wants but not how to get it. This story will tug at your heart and make you feel every beautiful and meaningful emotion.

They are a very interesting pair, and yet it works once they get pat their old perceptions and jealousy. Once they are able to tell the other how they feel, it's nothing but white hot passion shining through. However, they would never jeopardize their future for anything short of long term. Even in their darkest hour, they will manage to find a small ray of hope amidst the darkness.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are truly phenomenal as they flesh out Chad and Amber and all of the supporting characters throughout this amazing story. I can't get enough of them as a pair since they are so seamless and perfect together. They make stories they touch together shine with vitality and excitement! I enjoyed every aspect of their performance, and I can't wait to experience it again. They made this story so very special.

Engaging Story

I enjoyed book 4 of the "My Country Heart" series. The story was engaging and enjoyable. I liked the way that the author portrayed Chad and Amber. I liked that there was some humor in the tale. Tor Thom's and Charley Ongel's narrations helped to enhance the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

My favorite of the series!!

There is so much that happens in these stories! I love it ...then I hate it. I laugh...then I frown. I am Enamored with these characters....then I want to smack them. So this gave me a few different emotions but over all I LOVED it! From The dance auction to the king/Queen crowning...it is quite a time. In this story we see the last sister Amber, who is a scientist, taking a job in Sapphire Falls. Unbeknownst to her a classmate from college takes a job at the same facility. Will love blossom for these two?

This story might be my favorite in the series. The whole “I have loved you forever” is so sweet! Then add in how nervous Chad is around her that he stutters. Once again Dr T voices his advice to couples in love. I am not sure that Dr T’s advise is all that! I keep getting frustrated with the way these characters act towards each other on his advice. I really REALLY want them to work it out but other issues keep showing up. Then we have the make-overs of these two nerdies and that leads to trouble as well.

This is the last in the series and the narrators did a wonderful job in this one where all the characters are around and visiting. But I want to give a Special Shout Out to Tor Thom! He did an amazing job as Chad! The stuttering was perfectly done! Impressive. This has been my favorite to listen to and one I will be listening to again! Thank to Rachelle Ayala for the wonderful wonderful series!

PS...I loved the Epilogue! Very perfect ending for this story.

Sweet love story!

Amber and Chad are both science geeks that are attracted to each other but don't act on it. I like how the author slowly lets us see into their thoughts and the obstacles they face. Chad's biggest obstacle could keep them apart forever. Even when things seem to be looking up for them there are even more obstacles. Once again the narrators give distinctive voices to the characters. They make this Audible book a listening pleasure. I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. I highly recommend this book and the series. This sweet love story will have you cheering on Chad and Amber and at times rolling your eyes

Nerd Romance in Sapphire Falls

A pair of fresh out of college bio-nerds wind up working for a Sapphire Falls tech company at festival time and finally decide to pursue the romance they'd avoided in school, but workplace politics, sexual harassment and overwhelming shyness threaten their HEA in this charming, sweet romance set in the popular Sapphire Falls literary world.

Great characters, relevant issues, a light hearted treatment and that familiar charm only small town Sapphire Falls can offer make this one an enjoyable read ... and I love the realism added by the he/she narration team.

A Kindle World Novella - My Country Heart Series. A magical town called Sapphire Falls is where this mystical story takes place. The premise will intrigue you & the tag line & plot will keep you captivated. Chad & Amber are compelling & well seasoned. Supporting characters are a perfect blend that accentuates the story. A fabulous addition to a fantastic series. I loved Chad & Amber as their characters as they are adorable geeky characters. A fun & sweet highly entertaining romantic comedy with twists. I loved the epilogue, it ended the story perfectly.

Narators Charley Ongel and Tor Thom flawless performance was exhilarating. Tor Thom's performance of Chad was immaculate. His vocalizations stuttering was to perfection.

Oh man what a great romance.

I loved this series. and the town of Saphire falls. I love Amber and all her sisters but I think this may be my favorite in the series. Its sort of enemies to lovers and an office romance. Both Amber and Chad had crushes on the other but Amber thought Chad was snooty and would never have anything to do with her. Chad, on the other hand, has planned his life to try to get Amber ( it feels a bit stalkerish at times but it's still a cute story.)He has gotten a good job in Saphire falls when he found out that where Amber was going and part of his sign-on package is to have Amber as his research assistant.
Of course, when she finds out he gets lots of money and other perks as sign-on that she didn't.
There is a lot going on in this story. It keeps you on your toes and is intriguing there is a little wit and funny happenings too.
f you like a good romance, some heat and lots of feels this is for you. You don't have to read in order but it's a fun series so if you can do!
Thom Tor and Charley Ongel are THE BEST duo for audios. I love how they work together and bring the characters and story life.
