A little short

I'm giving this 4 stars because of new to me narrator Dennis Adams. He was exceptional. I loved his smooth, deep voice.

As far as the story goes, it was very sweet and both MC's were adorable together. I just felt like I needed more of them together to believe in the relationship. I felt like chunks of time were just missing without explanation.

For as short as it was, I did enjoy their story.

Great listen

This was a great quick little listen. It kept me company while I did hose work the other day. Dennis did a great job with the story and the characters in this book.

Short and sweet

Just enough dramatic tension to keep things interesting beyond the romance. Good balance of sweet romance and more serious themes around trafficking. Believable happy ending. Both characters were likable and seemed well suited together. It left me wanting the next in series. Good narration.

Love Me is the first book in the Rutledge Brothers series by Piper Scott. This tell the story of omega Seth Cooper who escapes his life as a sex worker at The White Lotus and finds himself in the protective presence of Alpha Tad Rutledge. These two men immediately pulled me into their story and captured my heart. I really wanted to know more about The White Lotus boys and how it all came to an end and this gives me some of that. The story has a sense of danger, suspense, drama, and sweetness of finding a future. I cant wait for next book.

Narrated by Dennis Adam's. Great voicework and recording. I really enjoyed listening to the story.

Safe

This is a beautiful story of strength and survival. Seth has been surviving in a bad situation but not just that but he cares about the others who have been with him. Tad is so patient but also so open to the feelings.
I listened to the audio version of this story and enjoyed it very much.

Lovely :)

A sweet, lovely short story. And given Seth's past, surprisingly low-angst.

Tad is the perfect protector, and just the person Seth needs to help him bring the Director down and set his companions free.

Lighthearted, interesting and satisfying, this is a great beginning for a series.

Short and Sweet

This is a short sweet book. Although it is mpreg, the mpreg comes at the very end, it's not the main focus of the story. Seth is an omega on the run. He's run away from an omega trafficking ring and runs into Tad. Tad runs a soup kitchen and takes Seth in. Tad is so sweet and very good for Seth. They really are good together. This is book one and I look forward to more.
Narrator Dennis Adams does a wonderful job in bringing these characters to life.

Omg sooo good

I'd been wanting to read/listen to these for a while. I've read the following books that mentioned parts of this one and can't wait for the others. So good and worth the wait.

Love for Seth

Seth escapes the White Lotus and is in fear for his life and his friends. He comes across Tad who helps him. This is a quick, low angst story. I liked the characters and it was enjoyable. This was a new narrator for me, and I liked the voices he gave the characters. Enjoyable quick listen.

Surprisingly suspenseful, and still sweet

This book was a lot more suspenseful than I thought it would be, with Seth on the run from a criminal boss type character; I enjoyed that aspect quite a bit, felt like a crime novel, not just a romance. I could've actually seen this being a full length book, had the author wanted to draw things out & I would've been totally on board.
That isn't to say that the book felt incomplete; it was one of those rare shorts that didn't feel terribly rushed, even if I would've enjoyed more.
There are some dark aspects to the story; however, what would've been the darkest parts occur either off page or in the past off page; they're strongly alluded to, but never described in detail. Seth might be a bit too mentally well even for all in his past, but I can't say if that's realistic or not. There's enough lightness & humor & sweetness in the book that recovery seems highly possible. And it is fiction.
This did contain a few of the frequent aspects of omegaverse books, so if omegaverse isn't your thing, I can't say for sure that this would turn your mind otherwise; however, I enjoyed it.
The narration was good too - I was not familiar with this narrator, but I was pleased.
I will definitely be reading the next two short books in this series & would enjoy them in audio if that should ever come.
