Wonderful

I absolutely loved the book- what a great story. I laughed and my eyes watered. What a sweet story of two vulnerable people- I loved Posey, and her tough high school years made me ache on her behalf. I loved Liam and his daughter, and what a great Dad he was. I hated for the story to end.

Xe Sands does a great job narrating.
Kristin Higgins mixes in emotions of youth, love, loss, rotten luck and family, that we all as living beings have experienced and can relate to, into a simply good story.

I have laughed and cried and sighed and swooned all day today reading this beautiful story. I love these lead characters. I love the story. I love the romance. One of my favorite audio books to date.

Nice rounded story - loved Posey’s character and how she viewed things. Loved er BIL. Dante a douche And love the fact that Gretchen broke up with him right after they got back together

Another lovely story

While Higgins books are a bit sappy I enjoy a happy ending story. The main character Cordelia while independent was too willing to let others take advantage. I listen to audio books at work and at least these make me smile. I love the quirky epithets.

Good story. I listen to a lot of Kristin Higgins books. Love how sometimes characters from other books are woven into the story.

Love this pair!

When I say I love this pair I don’t just mean the ones in the story. Kristan Higgins’ stories of New Englanders, animal lovers, and true love never fail to bring me joy. Xe Sands rendition of Kristan’s characters is flawless...they are a winning team of author and narrator.

Short girls are Beautiful too!!!

I love this author, and audio reader just brings the pages to life!! The fact that the main characters in her books are flawed makes them feel so real. Posiy, is simple and so beautiful in the most conventional way, not typical blonde, busty, and legs for days. Short girl, short hair, but full of spunk and heart. Then Liam, it just shows that you can't judge a book by its cover. He may have had suck a tough, "I give no cares" attitude on the outside, but on the inside his heart was made of pure gold!! I recommend this book. If you want more from this author try The Giddions Cove Series.

I have listened to a lot of Kristan Higgins books. I love Xe Sands as a narrator. This has to be one of my favorites.
