Haven't finished but narrator review is needed

I am only starting chapter 13 which is about 25% into the book. I find the story to be interesting and I like the characters.
problem is the female narrator. She is narrating the majority at this point and when she speaks for male characters, it is robotic with no emotion. Very distracting. I'm listening at 2.5 times now to try to avoid, but it's still an issue.
In fairness, she narrates very well in regular speaking voice and female characters.
Sadly, finishing the book will be a chore.

The story took me awhile to get into. It could use more character and world building.

Fantastic storyline

This book is fantastic. The storyline is fantastic. I really enjoyed it despite the female narrator. I just wish the inflections were done well and that it wasn’t so staccato and weirdly breathy all the time. It irked me quite a bit. There’s also quite a bit of romance but only 1-2 halfway steamy scenes. It wasn’t overwhelming which is nice. The characters are becoming more well rounded as the story progresses. I can’t wait for #2!

female narrator is absolutely horrible!

The male narrator is very good but the female narrator DOES sound like William Shatner. The story is very good and I found that cranking up the speed made it bearable. I wish they would have replaced her in the next 2 books but unfortunately no dice. It would have been so much better if the male narrator narrated the whole book.

Loved it

I can’t get enough I can’t wait for the next book.
It was so good I loved the story line kept sucked in loved it.

How is the No sex in a reverse harem?

Same question as the title? Okay so the book was still entertaining. Needs a little more character development. Clearer reasoning why everyone is skirting around having sex. Like if they are sure about what having sex signifies, traumatized responses, a virgin, etc. But no, it’s just we shouldn’t do it here, where ever there isn’t a bedroom. But they sleep in the same house every night? Make it make sense??? Maybe the heat picks up in the next book, but I’m not spending my credit on it.
Also- and this is huge! The female narrator IS HORRIBLE! Tolerable for female voices, should NEVER do male voices. Another reviewer said she sounds like William Shatner and now I can’t unhear it. The make narrator is AMAZING! he really should have done all the male voices.

I really liked how this one played out

The only thing I would change with this book is how the female narrator was. She seemed to try to make the female lead always talk in a "sexy" voice, even when it did fit the conversation. The way she voiced one of the males was also strange and almost robotic at times.

Oh my God I Love Book Series it was wonderful

Narrators did awesome job tell the story and characters in book and Author wrote outstanding books series I love it.

great story

Great story but narrator (Stephanie) was very stilted. There was no emotion and it detracted from my enjoyment of the book. Troy was awesome.
