So good but so hard to read/listen

Let me make this clear first, I love this book. It is so hard to read and listen too though because the story is so heartbreaking. The narrators are amazing and you can feel the pain in the characters. I think this speaks positively for both the author, who wrote the story, and the narrators bringing it to life. Sienna goes through it in this book. And it is heck of a cliffhanger ending. Luckily book 2 is out.

Wow! I’m blown away!!

I had to force myself to put this book down, and i was still up way too late. The writing is phenomenal, I could see and feel it all. Narration - perfection. Great story and characters. A must read!!

How many pieces…?

How many pieces can a torn heart fall apart?
Before I continue, I need to state that the story telling was phenomenal. I was THERE. For all of it! Yelling, and crying, fists clutching at air as I cried out, “YOU DESERVE WORSE, YOU A HOLE!” and “JUST SLAP THAT BIATCH!”
Of all the Omegaverse books I’ve just recently fallen into, the knowledge of care; of attention (both physical and verbal) they require to maintain a healthy mental and emotional state…THIS just blew my mind and threw me so far into WTF ville.
I’m going straight into book 2 after this review, cause the story REALLY IS just THAT GOOD. In spite of the mean girl plots and, yes, the lack of smut was a sad surprise but is easily overlooked cause….MAN the depths of where I was taken with this beautiful omega with the strength no Alpha could match, and her soul bonded pack that better come through with some much needed tenderness and protection…I’m eager to see the soul bond in its true form.
Don’t let me down!

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ so much pain. So much emotions. I really like the book. Obviously there’s no spice. But I really liked it and I’m gonna read the next one.

Well, dammit.

This audiobook breaks my “negative review” streak. I’m thinking of my usual reasons for banishing omegaverse/ pararomance /reverse harems, but this book has none of those issues.

1. The story kept great pace. No lagging or missing pieces.
2. The author (can’t see the name in my current screen, but I’m definitely going back for more of their work) actually took the time to make each character their own person. The male interests are wonderfully carved out, and completely separate from the next person. All of the main characters have flaws, making them feel real. You’re not sure who to cheer for.
3. This book has an awesome villain - the crazy/jealous ex-girlfriend-ish character.
4. This story is completely free from repetitive phrases (i.e., “my heart skipped a beat”…ugh). The author took the time to explain things…even feelings…without throwing in quick, canned copy/paste phrases.
5. These seasoned narrators always work well together and are perfect for this story. The emotion and triumph are absolutely there.

Well worth the credit…finally! On to the next in the series!
