Outstanding

This was so good! The book was good, but the audio just brought it to life! Nick and Michael do such a good job. I do wish that Michael was a little more fast paced at times, but other than that, it was good! Definitely worth a listen!

I wish Michael didn’t speak so fast at so many spots or had more inflections to differentiate between what Finn was saying and thinking.

Nick J Russo and Michael Dean are paired for this audiobook and love their play off each other. Nick brings his strength and vulnerability to Spencer showing his inner strength and snark perfectly. Michael Dean shows Finns fierce protectiveness and fierce loyalty in the strength of his narrations
narration. A perfect pairing for this beautiful series.

a beautiful start to the series of a book shop owner and his new neighbor at the tattoo parlor. Spencer & Finn are both moving on from loss in completely different ways and yet fall together so perfectly you feel theor need for each other. I absolutely adored the dichotomy that is Spencer where when he feels comfortable he lets out both sides in a beautifully uniquely him way. than you have sweet protective Finn who has been through so much with a horrible family yet still is open to allowing others in. A beautiful found family with so much potential for such beautiful things to come in the future.
