Mr. Sexy Swed

OMG where has this book been all my life? Oh right on my never ending TBR list.

I devoured this story and couldn’t get enough. I don’t think I laughed so much in a long time while listening to a book. It was unique and sexy with a sweetness to warm your heart. It had witty humor, passion and lots of heart.

While I like the story and the female narrator, Lexie Richmond, I was not a fan of CA Sorensen at all. I felt his voice was just not right and sounded too old to fit Jude’s character. I actually think Lexie had a better male impression and fit Jude.

But I overcame my dislike of some narration and just concentrated on the amazing story. I can’t wait for to dive into more in this series.

Romance, Anger, and Fun to be had--great story-4/5

This is my first experience with a story written by Lexie Richmond, C.A. Sorensen.

I have given up on Romance novels--they are just so predictable. But this is more of a life happenstance. It is a funny, believable story of Brae and Jude being pushed together and seeing where life takes them.

A very enjoyable book--love the anger and humor evolve.

So much fun!

Finding Mr Wrong had me laughing so many times. Her quirks. His candidness. Their time on stage. 🤣🤣🤣.

He has no desire to be Mr Right to Brae or any other woman. She’s done with relationships and is seeking Mr Wrong. Their story is filled with attitude, innuendo (and often blatant sexual conversation), mishaps and denied chemistry 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Be prepared for their stressors to triggers laughs and their banter to make you laugh harder. Getting to know each other was never so fraught with tension and heat!

Fun! Fun! Fun! And a great supporting cast of characters!

Didn’t care for the story

Writing was good but didn’t care for the story. It was soooooo boring and I actually went to sleep listening to this. That main characters were like able. Just didn’t care for the story. Performance was good. Even they can’t save it.

Fantastic storyline

I loved this storyline and these characters. My one and only reason for less than five stars is the male narration. I couldn’t connect him with the character. He just didn’t sound right. But in saying that, I know how difficult it would have been to find a narrator that could nail the Swedish accent.

Steamy & Sweet

This was a solid strangers to lovers book. I loved the concept of the dating contest. Everything seemed very believable and you rooted for the couple right away. The narration was good but the male voice sounded like it was more for an older man but it didn’t take away from the enjoyment of the book.

Five stars for everything but the male narrator.

I actually love this book. I wish they would have let Lexi Richmond narrate the entire thing. He was just wrong wrong wrong for the part.

Fun and sexy Romance!

This unique, sweet and sexy romance was a fun combination of The Dating Game meets The Bachelor. Brae and Jude are both wheedled into participating in a game to find their true spark. Brae picks Jude, thinking he is Mr. Wrong, and she will be able to walk away after she wins the prize money. Jude is forced into going along with it by his prankster best friends. But neither of them could see what would happen as they spend time together in a romantic beach cottage. Sweet Brae is determined to complete this game so she can help her family. But she is no match for sexy, swoony, Jude. This was a cute and steamy story that had me totally engaged from the very beginning.
I really enjoyed Lexie Richmond, and C.A. Sorensen's narration. Lexie brought out the stress that Brae was under and her transformation from needing to be in control to being laid-back and enjoying herself. Sorensen easily moved from workaholic to jealous protector. I must say that I also loved his accent. Richmond and Sorenson make a great team and I had fun listening to their work.

Cute story

Story was fun and flirty. Female narration was spot on and her male voice was spectacular. Male narrator sounded WAY too old for the character and didn’t have an accent which was weird since the female narrator’s male voice had a great accent!

Such a Fun Read!

I couldn't stop listening! I loved how the authors took this story to a complete ending. I literally laughed out loud at so many different points in the book. Loved it!!
