The perfect recipe for bagpipe success, and more!

I loved this book, I love being a Dojo member. The Dojo family has transformed my piping and my life in so many positive ways, and I'm forever grateful for that. I have only been a member for four and a half months, but I have gained an army of supporters and friends who range from beginners like me, to world champion pipers. The author and co-author, Andrew and Camille, are incredible pipers, awesome teachers, and huge supporters of every single Dojo student. It takes a village, right? I can personally attest that the formula outlined in this book will net you massive gains in your piping abilities. Four months ago, I couldn't play the scale, had zero rhythmic accuracy, and couldn't even read sheet music. Now, having passed phase one of bagpipe freedom (demonstrate excellent rhythmic accuracy), I am playing several tunes in their entirety, with rhythmic precision, and almost all gracenotes. I practice everyday at building a rock solid foundation on which to, eventually, add all of the fancy embellishments and stuff. I trust the Dojo process completely, and can say with 100% confidence that this process can, if followed correctly, benefit pipers of all levels. Thanks for a great read, Andrew and Camille! I love how fun, laid-back, and comfortable to read it was, but also concise, relevant, and easy to understand. See you around the Dojo! 😁❤️

Bagpiper in Training

I have been playing the bagpipes on and off for more than 20 years. I never felt that I got any better. However, through listening to this book and joining Piper’s Dojo, my playing has greatly improved. I am hoping for many more years of bagpiping success. Thanks Andrew!

A necessity for any serious musician

Although geared towards pipers, any musician looking to improve can apply the techniques in each of the Bagpipe Freedom Phases to his/her respective instrument. Andrew presents a modern approach that will help any musician not only improve, but also fundamentally change the way one thinks about learning and retaining music for an overall better and enjoyable ongoing experience.

Having a hard copy of the actual book is a valuable- and much needed- reference to further reinforce the concepts presented in this audiobook.
