Reseñas de la Crítica

" Fateful Triangle may be the most ambitious book ever attempted on the conflict between Zionism and the Palestinians viewed as centrally involving the United States. It is a dogged expose of human corruption, greed, and intellectual dishonesty. It is also a great and important book, which must be read by anyone concerned with public affairs." (Edward Said, from the Preface)
"A devastating collection of charges aimed at Israeli and American policies that affect the Palestinian Arabs negatively" ( Library Journal)
"Brilliant and unscrupulous." ( Observer)
Outstanding Content • Comprehensive History • Balanced Perspective • Thorough Research • Informative Analysis

this work provides important context into America's unusual and contradictory relationship with Israel. not the best work on the subject, but good nonetheless.

This is the real face of American democracy and the real oxymoron of Israel Jewish democracy.

If you're looking for a single book on the topic, look no further. Tremendous. Chomsky is a master.

The definitive work on Israel Palestine

It's horrible what's been going on for so long and should be a national embarrassment.

Chomsky is my new friend

Simply phenomenal. The full story of this conflict is rarely told in the US. This book rectifies that fact.

a must read!

Fateful Triangle is another brilliant work by Chomsky. The book relies on sources and quotes from every side, American, Israeli, Palestinian, and the rest of the world, to describe the history of Israel-Palestine relations in a way that makes sense.

Brilliant and Insightful

It was difficult to listen to this without occasionally wanting to underline, rabbit-ear pages and rereading sentences, so I bought it. I'm grateful for the privilege to be able to learn about the occupation and torturous treatment of Palestinians by Israel. As an American born in the 80's my mind was filled with propaganda and lies spread by American media and Israel. I pray more people educate themselves on the struggle of Palestinian sovereignty and push the U.S. government to end financial and military support of a government/state that acts as a terrorist to its neighbors and to force them to return lands stolen from Palestine, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

A lesson in history my soul needed.

As usual Noam Chomsky is right on target to tell it how it truly is. This book has been revised to 2015. You will learn about Oslo accords and many more sad realities about our imperialistic & pseudo-democratic military killing doctrine and regime. But the human spirit still has hope that truth and love will prevail.

Ethical Right to the Point

if you ever wanted to know anything about Israel and Palestine in the United States this is the go to book.

An Incredibly eye-opening collection of facts

This is the second book I’ve read by this author. I mostly wanted to look at what his views are to have all points on the spectrum covered. I went in assuming I would listen to a bunch of far left anti-western propaganda and that’s exactly what I got. While the broader context of his narrative is factually correct because it deals with historical matters, the author routinely “cites facts”, what someone said or attributes motives, without any reference or documentation to that fact. The author seems to have unique insights into conversations he wasn’t a part of with military leaders, politicians, and even at times secret documents. Amazingly these are not common knowledge, but are all somehow known by the author without even rudimentary citation or documentation to explain how. Having read credible historians, it’s normal for people to reference where things are coming from when they make a claim that is even remotely provocative so that they aren’t just making baseless claims. This author has no qualms about making explosive claims with literally nothing other than “someone once told me” or “someone said” as citation. There are much better works for people interested in a non propagandistic take from either the Palestinian or Israeli sides. The author needs to stick to linguistics.

A smattering of history mixed with nonstop anti-western propaganda
