Ahead of its time so relevant to 2025

While reading this book you have to remember it was written in 2016 and realize nothing has changed except in 2025 everyone knows about the treachery being committed around the world in the name of a covert empire.

More relevant now than ever

A collection of essays from one of the most pronounced thinkers of the century. These seem to be now more relevant than ever seeing the authoritarian take over of America and the utter unwillingness to address global conflicts and crisies by the transnational powers. The only bad thing about this book is that it clearly shows how little progress or rather, how much we regressed over the last couple of decades. Free Palestine!

Narration is so off for this book

Overall a good book. Not my favorite Chomsky but still very insightful and eye-opening. But the narration!! This was the wrong reader for this book all the way. This guy probably would have done well with reading a spy novel or something but not non-fiction. I found it so bothersome I had to pause listening multiple times. If you're interested, I'd buy the book.

He is so spot on years before this fallout.

I am sad he had a stroke leaving him unable to communicate. We need to share his insight with the thinking masses, now!

An antidote against American ignorance

Evidence like this must start a wildfire of action and a new thinking paradigm if we are to survive, much less find harmony between different social groups. You'll get very direct facts here to teach you to question and judge for yourself, unlike most history classes, social science classes, and media that would have you indoctrinated with ignorance.

Well documented and very thoughtful

The texts are concise and well written. There is a bit of repetition though and no one topic is analysed in depth due to the fact that the book is mainly a series of commentaries sent to the media.

Gain clarity aeons beyond what « the news » is selling you

We think watching the news or reading mainstream media articles is doing a good job at keeping us informed on world events… but it barely does that. What we get are biased, erroneous, one-sided, distorted misinformation and disinformation. Noam Chomsky does a great job at exposing and denouncing - speaking truth to power. Your worldview will never be the same, and I mean this in the utmost positivity.

Thoughtful

I have seen plenty of YouTube videos of Noam Chomsky, this is a deeper dive into his message of truth and fact.

Essentially reading!!!

Noam Chomsky should be required reading in all schools. This collection is particularly important for understanding the geopolitical climate of today.

This book is just Jew hatred, I want my money back

Horrible book, author hates Jews, America, democracy etc. I wouldn't use this book to level a table!
