Everyone needs to listen to Chomsky. Whether you're a corporate shill or a concerned citizen, this puts the bleak cultural wasteland of America into focus and exposes the nastiness and the modern form of slavery that corporations are imposing on everyone.

Leftist 101: start here

The only book by Chomsky you need (don't get "The Essential Chomsky", it's too dense and not nearly as exciting)

For many people, this book is THE entry point for being a leftist. It has a casual plain-spoken style which makes it great for everyone. It covers a huge breadth of issues and general topics (some more interesting than others, some more dated, some more relevant than ever).

Ever persuasive and accessible, Chomsky generally identifies as a libertarian-socialist or anarcho-communist. And that is explained here.

This book is good for young people who are learning about politics. It's also good for people like me who want to revisit their old friend Noam.

This book was a great refresher and helped refocus my values.

Chomsky is the best. The topics kind of jump around - but I assure you that anyone would find at least SOME of the topics very compelling.

Enlightening

A new perspective, for me at least, of how much influence some of the people in our nation have had on the rest of the world. It makes me want to learn more about the designing and how we can stop it.

Excellent! Chilling. Chomsky predicts today's political climate with prophetic accuracy. And he did it back in the nineties.

These are like modern Socratic dialogues. Chomsky always points to what is behind things, the core problems.

Female voice

Excellent discussion, but pretty upset about the woman’s voice sounding dumb all the time. Disrespectfully sad.
