By 1990, those figures had reversed." As we know, speculation continued to increase exponentially. We're paying the price now for not heeding him them.

Eye-opening

Extremely revelatory. This book is definitely a must-read, and the audiobook is very well done.

Insightful Content

This book, like most Chomsky books, is insightful. In fact it is esseantial reading, imho.

Very heavy political commentary

Very thought provoking yet highly opinionated and sometimes sarcastic commentary on America. I learned a lot. But I was also glad when it was over because it was heavy and had a negative effect on my mood.

Salient and Thought Provoking

Chomsky is difficult to understand and follow for someone like me, who doesn’t posses his intellect or his amazing recall of information. His mind puts so much information and so many puzzle pieces together and “How the World Works” breaks those down into digestible nuggets for those curious to learn more about Chomsky. I wish the information was a little more recent, but much of the takeaways are timeless.

Everything makes sense after reading this book.

Loved it, the narration was great and I am enjoying the audio. The story is great, the Audio app is great. Overall, awesome

Eye opening

Noam Chonskys sober view of the reality is helpful in determining the civic action needed to create better livelihoods for all. If you have doubts about the righteousness of current power structures , you’ll greatly appreciate this book.

Truth

I always walk away from a Noam book with understanding and ideas!!! I love his honesty and vast knowledge of the word!
