Good read/listen

It kept me interested and checked most of the boxes. Not riveting or all consuming for me (hence the 4), but a good one nonetheless.

Great story in a great series

I was happy to finally hear Brenna and Ry’s story. It was very well done. The female narrator however, sounds like she is fresh out of broadcasting school. Reading each sentence as if she is on the news. Every sentence has the same cadence. It was a bit hard to overcome. Male narrator was wonderful, especially with the accents.

I love listening to this series and loved all the characters. I’ve enjoyed the story line and the developing of the characters.

The best one in the series (almost)

I loved the narrators so much and think they did a great job! The way Harding impersonates Kills and his relatives is everything.
This made me laugh a lot and was cute as hell! I am so glad we finally get to see their story. By far: Brenna is the mist lovable heroine from the series. I am gladly impressed did no think I was going to enjoy this that much: now i really want to see Whips story and have bits and pieces of the rest!

Disappointed

I was looking forward to Brenna and Ry’s story since book one and boy was this disappointing. The spark wasn’t there. The only
conflict is they both were scared and indecisive. I thought a major plot point would be Ry’s hand issue or Brenna’s parents but both just resolved in less than a chapter. I liked Brenna in previous books but found her whiny and indecisive about everything. The female narrator spoke in this whispery whine that got more irritating as Brenna couldn’t make up her mind about anything in her life. Seriously disappointed and bored - and just a side note- Brenna had an English accent in one audiobook and the rest she didn’t - same with Killian and Jax so I just found that inconsistent.

The narration!

The storyline was pretty good and I was really looking forward to this segment of the series but I was disappointed. The narration of the female lead just did not fit with her character. The narrator's voice was whiney and weak but Brenna's character is strong and kick ass. It made it hard to listen to and get involved with the characters.
