You might just NEED this.

I was struggling with a really bad breakup — for six months. No signs of me emerging. I usually roll my eyes at self-help things like this, but all I can say is the stories that resonated and way she breaks down everything that heartbroken people feel and experience was a great journey. It is short. It’s worth it. It really helped me. Finally able to get out of a really bad phase.

AMAZING

I have had immense past struggles! I listened to this book in 2 days while still being able to complete tasks around the house during areas that didn’t apply to me. The areas that did, life changing! Highly recommend.

Best Book

This is the best and most helpful book I have ever read! The information in this book helped tremendously through the hardest time of my life.

I needed this!

I wish I had this book seven years ago when I was dealing with the aftermath of my past relationship first hand. The relationship ended very traumatically and I had never gotten full closure after all this time. Dr. Bobby writes out what I’ve been experiencing blissfully and I’m relieved to hear that I’m not the only one going through the same thing. If healing is what you’re searching for - whether it be short or long term heartache - this audiobook is for you!

Surprisingly good.

I was a not sure whether to listen to this book or not because the recent reviews were not that great. I decided to hear Lisa’s YouTube interview on this book and I ended up liking her talk quite a bit. Hence, I decided to listen to it. I finished this book in less than 3 days and it was absolutely worth it. I liked how Lisa was so empathetic about the situation(breakup) and she laid out the biological factors behind the traumatic experience of breakup. After listening to this book, I was able to add 2 plus 2 together coherently. My therapist recommended this book to me and this definitely earned her some respect in my life.

Life changing book

Regardless of your degree of “exaholism” this book is incredible! It starts by giving you a way at the beginning of a breakup to give yourself emotional space to grieve. I feel like what differentiates this book from every other “just gets over it breakup book” is how it then describes step by step how to move past the “train your mind to avoid the pain” directly in to “face the pain, walk through the hurt and emerge on the other side a different human with more emotional and relationship skills than you had at the beginning”. Too many of us get caught at the ignore and avoid stage and then figure out work is done because the pain has subsided only to re enter the same relationship (with a different person, or go back to the same person) and try again. But, when nothing changes..... nothing changes, right? This book gives you the tools for change. Highly recommend.

Not really new information. But a good listen if you are struggling with a breakup

Couldnt stop listening to it! The narrator was absolutely great. Anyone who is going through a breakup has to get this book.
