Great characters
These books are tense, well structured, and at times laugh out loud funny. I adore the characters. Narration is totally on point. Chefs kiss! Listen to this series and JD Kirks other novels. It’s a wild ride and does not disappoint during any of the books.

I really like knowing there's another installment
I adore these quirky characters! Grumpy Hoon and his grumpy sister are not exactly lovable but crazy good to have around in a crisis. He's indestructable!!! Hence, it's reassuring to know there's another book so you know he makes it to the end!

My New Favorite Christmas Book
Bobby Hoon, that curse word obsessed, ballix busting, walking talking insult and new sentence generating, one man plot destroying hero of a Scotsman is back at it again. A fantastic addition to his series and the DCI Jack Logan Series. JD Kirk has quickly become one of my favorite authors no matter which pen name he uses. Thanks for sharing your imagination with the world it’s much appreciated. This book is the bom!

Hoon is back and even better!
Hoon is the classic antihero with a foul mouth (and sister) who takes a ton of physical abuse but always comes right- and he’s so damn funny!!
