In search for the townspeople of Gatecross and his Core Power Guild, Fred and his friends wind up in the city of Allroads - where they find more than they bargained for. After successfully breaking them all out of prison using his special abilities and creating a small dungeon underneath the city, his activity unfortunately gained the attention of the elemental Dungeon Core factions surrounding the large valley where the city is located.

That’s because the city of Allroads is occupying the middle of what the Cores called a Convergence, an area of intense elemental concentration that produced an extraordinary amount of ambient Mana; those Convergences are protected and off-limits for any dungeons to possess, which is one of the reasons Fred gained the ire of the nearby Cores.

Or, it could be because he destroyed three of their own....

Regardless of the reason, Allroads is under siege, and Fred has to help defend the city from all seven of the elemental factions pressing against his territory border, prepare for potential invaders to his dungeon with the help of his Shards, and potentially figure out a way to save both species (Humans and Dungeon Cores) from extinction.

And he has to do all of that while convincing the Allroads Council not to execute him for bringing all of this trouble to their literal doorstep....

Contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling. No harems and no profanity.

Can't wait for the final book

This book setup the final book nicely, even if I cannot see how everything will get resolved in the next book. Great narration.

Great Book in a Great Series...

I have started binging on LITRPG titles and Jonathan Brooks has an amazing knack for fantasy area. I highly recommend his other LITRPG series as well. The only one I have not yet read is the Horror one, but knowing it will be a bit before book 5 in this series is out on Audible, I will probably head for those in the near future.

When I die, I want to come back as a core.

I'm not sure which one but it definitely seems right.
The rulers of the city know who Fred is and so do the supreme cores and both are not happy with him. Will Fred and his friends survive???
Of course they do. There's a book 5. But it's kind of a nail biter as to how they do it.
GREAT writing and narrating!
I can't wait for book 5 to come out on Audible. Hurry hurry, (but do a good job.)
If you like fantasy, dungeons and especially LitRPG, you are going to love this book.

Epic!

Great story and narration!

Fred and the crew are back, and in a very sticky situation! Having just formed a token dungeon under the city of Allroads the city is under attack by the dungeon factions, and the jury is out on how the people of Allroads will deal with the situation and with Fred!

Miles does a great job of narrating this story and bringing the characters to life.

This book compares well to the other books in this series and is a lot of fun to listen to!

I cant wait to find out what happens next!

Best Book in the Series... So Far.

Dungeon World 4 continues Fred's struggle for survival and begins Fred's goal of rebalancing the relationship between the Cores and the Humans. Miles Meili brings the Supreme Core Council to life and maintains his exciting narration throughout this action-packed book. Initially, I was concerned by the larger cast, but Meili handles the many voices with style. Great book and great narration.

Excellent for the series

Keeps the series going strong and introduces some of the antagonists that have been plaguing the protagonist.

Also learn quite a bit about the nature of the protagonist.

Another good entry

I am really enjoying this series. It is keeping me on my toes. I feel like I know where things are going and then the book finishes and things are headed in a brand new direction. The narration was really good.

the 5th book i must say is the best yet,it has dungeon building i guess that is a no brainer gets more in depth on the other dungeons.
Jonathan brooks really knows how to keep you on the edge in this book cant say much more with it not being a spoiler
