I loved that the book was more character and story driven, with less emphasis on the mechanics of the world.

Love the voices!
Very interesting idea. The obvious attempts not to use he said or she said gets a bit old. But aside from that, great world with fantastic explanations as to how things are built and why. Story and characters progress quite well. I found myself binge listening which is usually a sign that the story is quite good.
