New Favorite Book

Astonishingly beautiful story with a flawless audible performance. It got me in all the feels— including embarrassing bursts of laughter with my earbuds in. My heart hurts with the depths of simplicity. Cannot wait to read more by this author. Five stars, highly recommend.

Beautiful!

This was the first book I have read by this Sonali Dev. This was a lighthearted romance an easy to read. This was so powerful and impactful. Wonderful characters, intriguing story, emotionally triggering topics, with a happy conclusion.

Such a nice story of love with Indian culture sprinkled in. The parents of Mira were, sadly, very believable. Great writing.

Bittersweet

Adventure, travel, and bittersweet love, bring this story that started with a found ring on the NYC street to the top of my recommendation list!

Not for me

Excellent narrator. I just didn’t feel much for the characters. I thought the story started out boring and went on way too long, even when there was more action. I started skipping over the very very many endless deep talks and inner dialogues, and although the main love story was very sweet, it didn’t seem authentic to me, nor did the mc’s actions in trying to solve the “mystery.” She treated her family and fiancé horribly to pursue something that really wasn’t her business past the point of finding the owner of the first lost ring. The brother was just a mean jerk.
