So entertaining

This was such an entertaining book. It was my first time reading Sara Goodman Confino and I can tell you it definitely won't be my last. I laughed out loud in places. Entertaining, quick read. You just have to read this!

I want more books like Sara's books, always so heartfelt and cozy. I also loved the call back in this book.

Close to historical time and funny

This was an excellent light hearted and humorous book. The narrators voice fit the time period, too!

Another winner from Sara Goodman Confino

I love the way the author Sara Goodman Confino presents strong, independent, feminine women as her main characters. She has a real handle on the time and place she writes about. After 50 years living in Montgomery County, Maryland, I enjoy her references to known places of yesteryear. My heart smiled when she mentioned landmarks, like Garfinkels, Woodies, Mrs. Kay’s Tollhouse and The Colonial Inn (wow - I was naive). A fun, smart and engaging read!

Great novel with a few strong leading ladies

I loved “PS Don’t forget to write”, and this was an another excellent novel by the same author. I love her leading ladies are strong but not perfect, make mistakes and apologize but also unapologetically try to live their lives with respect and purpose. I highly recommend this book!
