If you love soap operas...

*Spoilers* I almost didn't finish this. The narrator was great and a good match with this particular book.
I enjoyed the book (to a certain point), and was even touched by the story. Unfortunately, the story took a turn down the path of emotional overload including a love triangle that honestly just made me mad (at the main character).
At one point I just wanted to gag.
The ending was predictable and horribly cliched. Of course the main character ended up with the person she cheated with (her fiancees best friend). Sickening.

Predictable.

Nice story but I had it pretty much figured out well before Charlotte had a clue. My biggest problem was the overly dramatic performance of Ms. Gilbert. Way over the top.

New Rochelle Weinstein Fan!

I love every single character SO much. I felt for them deeply the entire book as they celebrated their joys, recognized their flaws, and struggled with sorrow. I think I may have cried on and off through the last 100 pages or so. Throughout the whole book I felt like I was right where they were, mostly warm in the Florida Keys! The narrator was wonderful and transitioned from all of the characters seamlessly. I was never distracted from the story by her performance which makes the experience so enjoyable! Can’t wait to reach more from this author!

Beautiful story, not light reading

It was a lovely story with heaviness in grief and illness. I stuck it out to the end, but it wasn't the light easy listen I was hoping for.

Entertaining

Narrator was pleasant to listen to. To drawn out on Charlie 's heart choice she was an adult not a teenager.

Close to tears

Not your typical cheesy love story. Very intriguing plot that occasionally had me close to tears.

It was cathartic . . . Cried a lot. Good book. Wish I had listened to it not on a work night.
