Alastair & Eloise

This book was very much sit on the edge of your seat story, and as with all of Jagger Cole’s novels, it was steamy, & mildly, but appropriately suspenseful. It tied up most loose ends, with the exception of Eloise’s sick minded sister, who I was convinced until the end was a part of the mess, but it turns out, she’s just nuts. The narration was fine.

Enemies to lovers

Enemies to lovers and workplace romance? Oh, and they were enemies who once had a genuine connection when they were in college.

Alistair and Eloise hated each other. Well, he hated her and she tried to hate him. But when she ended up working for him, the sparks between them were still there.

The lies and secrets that came out — wow, I wasn’t expecting some of them.

Alistair may have been cruel, but the man was obsessed and very protective. And not only of Eloise, but his family as well. And the two of them were so good together.

This was dark, spicy, a little emotional, and full of suspense.

The narrators did a great job! Also, Emery Erickson had an accent for her character, and her performance was fantastic.

Dark Enemies to Lovers Romance

The narrated pace was slow. I had to increase the speed. Slow lead of the plot but once the burn started it kept going. Easy stand alone mafia dark romance; lovers to enemies to lovers again. Most loose ends were tied up.

Captivating!

This is the first book in the Venomous Gods Series. Alistair and Eloise’s story is captivating, and passionate, filled with secrets, danger, and twists and turns. They are both interesting characters. The supporting characters are great. I liked this enemies to lovers romance. Walker Williams and Emery Erickson did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to more in the series. #Valentineprlm

Amazing plot and spice!

This was my first book by this author and it definitely will not be my last! Such a great plot and good spice as well. Narrators did an amazing job! Definitely worth the credit and can’t wait to check out more books by this author!
