Super dark

This kidnapping story is thoroughly entertaining but keep in mind that it is extremely dark. And by that I mean there is a lot of non-consensual acts. The narration was spot on.

I received this audiobook at no-cost. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

kinda f ed up

This could have been a good thriller, but the ending was dull like the whole thing. bummer

if non-con troubles you, don't listen. really good if you're into it like the main character.

A truly twisted story .. and I loved it.

This book surprised me in the sense that I immediately thought David would not be redeemable based on his actions. I was surprised to like him and even understand him toward the end. The beginning of the book was truly difficult to listen to, making me feel ill a little but it was also really erotic. That's the kind of story that makes a girl question herself for sure! And because if that, I loved it even more. It has a unique quality to it, even though I've heard revenge stories before shaped into dark romances, this one felt different, like it had its own energy to it. Hard to describe really. But it's definitely an amazing book with some great narrators. That said, Leo's little shouting bursts felt like they might pop my eardrums with my headphones in! I'm joking around but in all seriousness, get this book, but only if you have a thick skin and a strong stomach because it is not for the faint of heart by any stretch of the imagination. It's brilliant.

Lianna and David

This book was really good. David kidnapped and abused Lianna to get to her father. He did some horrible things to her because he had a dark and twisted mind. We find out why later in the book. This book is very dark. Things do not turn out the way David planned and Lianna's father finds them. Mia Madison and Leo Barnabas did a very good job with the narration.
