Saylor and Jed

5 ⭐ 4 🌶️ 5 🎧

I'm so head over heels for this series. Jed is flipping unhinged and quite frankly, Saylor wasn't all that far behind at the end. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre inspiration was perfect, and I loved the bad guys they took down. From the very start I was hooked on these two.

I really enjoyed seeing our old friends again, even more so with them getting to know Saylor and talking about their girls. There were some pretty adorable moments for a serial unaliver romance.

The audio was great. Marie Hawkins was fantastic as Saylor and Co and I loved this listen. Thank you so much to Pink Flamingo for the advanced copy!

Jed & Sailor

I thoroughly enjoy Aj Merlin’s work. She has a way of making murderers/serial killers seem harmless. Jed is a big chainsaw wielding softie. He loves sailor from the moment he sees her, the instalove obsession is sweet, not creepy like you’d expect. I accidentally read this one first so I’m going back to read/listen to the others in the pleasure/prey series immediately. The voice actor chosen for this book in particular is amazing! She reads for both parts but I really felt like it was 2 different people.

Delicious is the 4th book in the Pleasure & Prey series. This book is about Jed and Saylor and is told from Saylor's point of view.

When Saylor follows the sound of a chainsaw she ends up in Jed's clutches. She sees something she shouldn't have, and now Jed is keeping her at his place.

While there, she starts to develop feelings for Jed, but also knows he's a bad guy. When she is finally able to go home will she stay at home, or will she return to Jed?

Will Jed and Saylor get their happy ending? Or will other factors rip them apart for good?

I enjoyed this book. It was fun to see other characters from the other books in this series, and I'm excited to continue on with it.

Dark Contemporary Romance

Delicious by AJ Merlin is a contemporary dark romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Marie Hawkins. This is the fourth book in the Pleasure and Prey series and can be read as standalone.

I love AJ's books. She does an amazing job pulling me into her stories that I can't help but binge them in one sitting. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Jed and Saylor.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Heartless to be released on audio.

Marie did an amazing job on the narration. She really knows how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance, serial killer romance, or romantic suspense.

Good one

This series has been one of my absolute faves to read and this book is no different! It’s dark, steamy and oh so good especially if you like serial killers! I’d definitely recommend this whole series!
