Can I just tell you I am listening to this again! I absolutely could not wait for this book and on edge for the next one, please and thank you! David and Delany are relationship goals this is such a great story! 🥰

Overall, performance was wonderful. I really enjoyed this writer. David to the rescue I would love to know what happens to the other family members. Maybe there will be a book 3 fingers crossed.

I loved this book. It was more than what I expected!!! It was funny and enjoyable. David is the man. After he got himself together regarding those different and multiple women, I liked him more. Ms. Evelyn I loved the series ❤️. Now, are we going to get the story about their cousin and Jade?? I thought there was something going on between them. I could be wrong. I’ll leave it to you. You of course know best. But, please… book 3… Thank you 😊

Meant to be

I love love the narrators.. The intricate development of the relationship was key. The story telling was forthcoming with the vulnerabilities of David and Delaney: and, their willingness to bet on love and each other.. The way he protected her was everything for me!!!!

Good story line and very realistic

I liked the love story and the intimacy - I really typically enjoy urban romance and this was quite enjoyable and entertaining and a nice sequel

Unlike Max and Summer’s love story. Delaney and David’s love story is more on the emotional side, which I didn’t mind because the plot was very very very well put together. We got friends to friends with benefits to an office romance. The spice in this book was absolute perfection and definitely sheet clenching😝I was hooked from the very first second I started chapter 1, Both Delaney and David had character growth. Delaney found her independence while David was reconnecting with his emotional side and feelings. Without realizing that they’re falling in love with each other while helping each other out. I literally binge listen to this book. Just like how I did with “Downfall”. I’m very happy that Delaney was not so quick to reconnect with her family, especially her brother who disappointed me the most out of her family. But all in all, I am so happy from the outcome I even teared up a little. And it’s hard to make me cry with the book. Now my only question is….. Do Caleb and Jade get a love story as will???🤔🤣

The woman’s voice isn’t the best fit.

The story is good and engaging.
The woman’s voice is a terrible fit for Delaney. Both the woman and her speaking as the male throughs me off.
However, Troy Duran always does a fantastic job of the cocky, confident, sexy, rich alpha male. His voice is perfect.
