what an epic tale I've been waiting for this part in the story to see where Simon takes us and Keeble really puts the emotions in the words

Enjoyable, but a little inconsequential

Another well narrated novel by Simon Scarrow. It did feel a bit inconsequential in comparison to some of the others in the series, but I think it’s fair to conclude that it’s largely setting up the next book that will cover the famous victory of the Romans against Boudica. I guess that may be the last in the series!
