Something Lance lets slip about his pals convinces Eleanor the answer lies close to home. Accompanied by her faithful sidekick Gladstone the bulldog, she begins with Lance’s friends - a set of fast driving, even faster drinking, high-society types with a taste for mischief. But after they start getting picked off in circumstances that look a lot like murder, Eleanor is in a race against time to clear Lance’s name and avoid another brush with death....

Fans of Agatha Christie, T E Kinsey and Downton Abbey will adore this tremendously fun cozy whodunnit, full of mystery, murder and intrigue!

I don’t want to write a review I just can’t seem to get out of app this is a pain. The book. Was good

Well written, but fast reader.

Enjoyed the story but the reader read kind of fast so I had to slow it down just a little bit. Still, well worth it.

Another great mystery. The characters are truly intriguing and getting to know everyone better as this series continues

Really like learning snippets about her uncle and Clifford. There is an entire series there I think!

The narrator is perfect!

Wonderful narrator!

Tells the tale rather than making it sound like she's "reading". Interesting voicing for the various characters. Made the story really come alive!

My favorite narrator, I believe she could read the back of a cereal box and make it sound interesting

The humor laced through the dialogue makes the mystery so much fun. I would love to meet Lady Eleanor and her butler in person.
