Anty is back and in fine form!

Fitzsimmons hit the ground running with this one. Fabulous prose throughout! Easily one of my three favorite Anty stories.

Tim Bruce's narration is fabulous as usual!

Love more detective Ivers and Vicars. Perfect reader doing excellent voices continues. Happy ending. Will listen to multiple times as after first listen makes for perfect going to sleep book.

I loved the characters! I really hope Henny is added to the repertoire of Anty's regulars.

I've listened to this at least 6 times. -swallowtails, 2 fist, spats, lolli sticks, donate the lot to an orphanage, the smudge that the tailor will have to work around - cracks me up every time!! I love the bond between Anty & Vickers such that Vickers could predict what Anty would've made up.

I know NOTHING about gambling but the more I listen to the series, I feel like I could fake it with the vernacular I've picked up from Anty.

as with all of the books in this series, the similes, metaphors, and alliteration are top notch! I can't get enough of Anty's stories. and I'm considering going back through and documenting the many ways that Anty has of saying that someone is dead and the ways he describes Iva's mustache. lol!!!

and as with all of the books, I LOVE that there is a critter who Anty bonds with and happy endings.
I listen to this series all the way through over and over. Anty keeps me company at work and I laugh out loud regularly.

Tim Bruce is superb. I can't imagine anyone else performing this series.
and I'm always amazed by PJ Fitzsimmons' ability to create so many scenarios, characters, names, poetry, and Anty's stories within the story.
by far my favorite series of all time! thank you, PJF, for creating this world and thank you, TB, for bringing it to life ❤️

Love the story and, as always, the narration

These books are so entertaining and made even better by the wonderful narration. I never find myself wondering who’s speaking like with other narrators. Recommend very highly.
