fun series, reminds me of classic mysteries of the golden Era. I had to listen to them all. so glad I found them.

I'm now a Pilkington-Soames fan

Gethyn Edwards is brilliant as the reader. The stories have characters with just enough depth for you to like them or distrust them. I never guessed 'who done it'.

cozy historical mystery

I liked these books, I think I already had the first one. Droll humor, The accent in the second one grated on my nerves. It was good, then got snobby. I'm guessing they weren't recorded all at the same time.The stories themselves were good, kept me guessing as to who was the killer. Enjoyed except the accent in 2

Annoying characters and dull story. I forced myself to listen beyond the first few minutes but can’t stomach the entire episode.
