this is one of the top five of my favorite series in the world to listen to you can't do wrong with this one and if you listen this far you clearly like what you hear I can't wait for the next one.

next to the spellmonger, this is one of my favorite series ever. out of nearly a 1000 book library. hope this goes on for many more to come.

Another great book but

Another amazing story/adventure. I listened to the whole series again before this book. For me I noticed this time around just how bad the romance is. I found myself skipping the interactions of Jax and Oracle entirely. Tommy and Belladonna make no sense. At best there should be lust between them but Tommy the playboy and Bella the ruthless warrior develop love for each other with no real dialogue between them. I’m probably just nitpicking but man it’s a pretty unrealistic given they are in a world with magic lol. Still, look forward to the next book and skipping past the bad romance.

Other than the constant squeak…

Love this series. Loved it since the first great book. Jez has come a long way as a writer, and I’m happy I found his books.

… however, there is some squeak in the background. Sounded like the platform the reader’s book was on needed to have its screws tightened or something. Not sure, but it was hard not to hear once I heard it the first time. Holy crap was it annoying.

Favorite Jez story

This is my favorite of Jez. His others are also great but I look forward to this series the absolute most. It hits all the emotions.
