Story
Dark Horse is the second book in The Quiet Horseman series and I would gladly make a deal with the Devil if his name is Grant Stockton. Daddy. Devil. Zaddy. Grant. No matter how you’ll call him, the man is what dirty dreams are made of and more!

After Dakota loses her older brother and is left without family, Grant becomes her guardian. Fast forward a 10 years, now Dakota owns a bar, that belonged to her family, but it is in one of Grant's buildings. When Grant discovers her secret, like a true devil, he offers her a deal, that she can't resists. As they navigate this new arrangement, their dynamic shifts, and feelings begin to blossom.

I absolutely loved Dakota’s personality! I loved her in Bull Rush and seeing her as an FMC in this book allowed me to see her in different light too! I enjoyed how she challenged and pushed Grant’s buttons. The banter was a chef’s kiss!

Grant is a rugged, protective, dirty-talking MMC, who then you’re in for such a fun treat. He had me completely losing my mind in the best way. And underneath that tough exterior, he has a heart of gold.

The way Grant tries so hard not to completely give in to his best friend’s little sister was … Poor guy! And the way he loves Dakota and wants to protect her got me swooning. Not to mention everything he did for her! Oh, and Zaddy’s filthy mouth….

The chemistry between the main characters was incredible, the friendships were fantastic, and the mystery/suspense plot kept me on the edge of my seat. The whole book lives rent free in my brain! I loved everything about this book. The plot was on point. I loved the darker topics set in a small town. And the smut was hot! And again that fitlthy mouth!

This book was so addictive and like the first book, I devoured it in 4-5 hours lol. The mix of mystery, our lovable characters and beautiful writing drew me in. I’m officially a fan of this author now and I am planning to read more of her books! I'm excited about the next book about the third brother Levi! And can’t wait to see where the story goes, cause I need answers!

Audiobook
Sean Masters & Emma Wilder both deliver a truly mesmerizing performance. Their delivery and cadence are spot-on, perfectly matched to the flow of the story and keeping you locked in from start to finish. You can feel that they’re fully invested in the storyline, which only draws you in deeper.

Holy K💋ck this 🎧book was fricken fantastic the only reason it didn’t get a perfect score it was missing a wedding and babies! It does end with a HFN instead of a HEA ugh. The duet narration was HAF with Sean Masters & Emma Wilder who narrated this 🎧book to perfection! I know you’re wondering if this 🎧book is worth a credit?

Obsessed!!

First… Sean Masters and Emma Wilder… totally nailed these characters! The emotion, the spice, the chemistry and all the witty banter 😮‍💨🤌🏻 perfection! I had already read this book and loved it, but the audiobook version just made me love it even more. Well done!

Great story but felt unfinished

I loved this story and Daddy Grant.
It felt unfinished though, so much importance put on a back story, but then very little resolution at all. Building for the 3rd book, but would have liked a bit more to it.
The rising intonation at the end of almost every female sentence was a little tough to handle after a while, but she did wonderful otherwise.

fantastic audiobook!

I was so excited for this to release and it did not disappoint. The narrators were amazing and I loved this audiobook. The story kept me on the edge of my seat and I cannot wait for the next book.
