Complex world and engaging characters
The third book continues the story and world building. The characters and story are great, but for me the world building is what keeps me immersed in the book. The progression makes sense, which a lot of this genre of books neglect. I will definitely be getting the next book in the series.

Slow but with a climactic ending
My only complaint is that this story felt like a lot of set up for the conclusion. Very light plot but with a lot more expounding on faction politics. I appreciate the pov shifts into our newest member and the narrating was sublime as always. I’m looking forward to the conclusion
