thessa needs to stfu and piss off

overall a interesting, if unoriginal, take on the litRPG genre set in a academy slice of life style story. characters are pretty well fleshed out (except thessa) and interesting (except thessa) and draw you into the story (except thessa). sex is present but not so over done or excessively drawn out that it makes you roll your eyes and start skipping large chunks of audio - basically there's sex but thats not the point of the book/story, which is nice. only downside (for me) is how controlling, obnoxiously obsessed, and psychopathic the yandere thessa is. honestly gotta give kudos to the author for making such a convincing yandere character, but i absolutely hate that freakish trope and cannot stand the main character being literally treated like her fucking meat toy. but that character aside the story kept me engaged and ill probably continue the series when i run out of other material

If you like DD 101 you'll probably like this; it's similar in many ways plot-wise, and several cuts above Jack's typical writing. There are still plot holes and inconsistencies, but the character work is much improved. It's worth checking out.

I still don't love Lewis' narration, but he does fine. Rozelyn is awesome as always.

The story isn’t bad by any means. If you enjoy harem LITRPGs then you’ll probably like this one. It’s a typical academy trope.
My issue is with the double standards. Wade is is in trouble for going into a dungeon alone. The staff has to vote on if they let him stay in the academy or not. The vote was 6 to 5 in his favor. That’s fine. BUT Lazy wasn’t in trouble. No one said anything about her going into the dungeon alone. Also the Elf that sent her in the dungeon in the first place. No punishment there either. It doesn’t make sense. If it’s such an issue that the faculty has to have a vote on expelling a student over, but only picking on the one student it takes away from the overall story. To me it feels like very lazy writing. Outline the plot and throw whatever in there and hope it works? I don’t know.
Like I said overall not bad just some glaring holes in the story that just doesn’t make sense. Narration was on point as always with these two.

Quite possibly the lamest power I’ve come across

Wow, I came into this thinking “enchanter, Mc is going to have cool powers to imbue objects with spells. Or maybe he’s going to be able to enchant his body or something like that.”. Nope, he’s “enchanting”, like he can glamour people….immensely disappointing.

interesting book storyline

I actually enjoyed listening to this book it was definitely interesting and got me into the entertainment and looking for book two and any other titles that come from the storyline he created

WONDERFUL STORY!!

I am SO grateful to witness the evolution of an author. Please take the time to look at this author’s works. Great story. Wonderful voice acting that complements the story.

Excited for the next story

Such an amazing start - love the characters already, and the VA’s knock it out of the park.

Not too much of a demerit, but no clear understanding of the leveling

Only dislike about this book, is an ad for another book instead of more story at the end. 30 mins ?!?

Solid story, great narration

Good start to a new academy series. The MC gets overpowered early, but it is not unexpected in the genre. Looking forward to the continuation of the series

It’s a fun listen I’m interested to see where the story goes from here I can’t wait for the next installment.
