I enjoyed listening to the reading of this book. The examples were truly practical.

worth listening to

Shapiro does a good job of explaining about 15 different ways why preparation is a key success factor in whatever endeavor you are involved in. What's most interesting, is that his examples come from a very wide range of good preparers...from musicians to lawyers to surgeons to sports stars.
Great narration, lot's of energy in Shapiro's voice.

Good Read

Good book, great and inspiring stories with some Transferable skills 👌 👍 👏 😀

Interesting but dull

It was an interesting topic, but the discussion was at times painfully dull. I found myself listening to an hour of the audiobook for one or two inciteful comments.

Nothing I haven't already heard.

Boring. Regurgitated information. Nothing NEW. What else do you have? I cannot believe this book was rated as high as it was. Clearly overrated.

Examples illustrated with unfamiliar examples

The author provides some good tips but I feel that he could have chosen people for his examples that readers would be more familiar with. I found myself listening to the book just to see what new tips each chapter would offer but by the time I got to chapter 8, I could not go any further.
