Strong Female Character

Love the story and the romance. Finally a strong sexy female character around strong men. The story is dark but also meaningful, there is tragedy and trauma as well as hot sex. Overall....very happy with it. Wish there was a series :-)

Let me just say Jacob Morgan and Muffy Newtown is great in this. Now that being said Mr. Aaron Shedlock stole the show for me with that accent. 👏👏👏👏👏.

This story has everything you could ask for: steam, romance, murder, thrill, friendship, and twist and turns! Loved every minute of it

Exceeds all expectaions

I go into M. Never's books with expectation that I will automatically like it. So far she has not disappointed me. Not only is her writing spectacular, she picks the perfect narrators for her books. I have been anticipating the release of the audio since the book released, and although I know it will make it's way on AE it doesn't matter because I am willing to spend money or use a credit for any book done by her.

Erin Mallon as the character Fallon is flawless, she is a bada** female assasin, torn between loving one man and taking down another.
Jacob Morgan as Declan nothing more to say other than it's Jacob Morgan with an Irish accent who is also a bada** assassin
Aaron Shedlock as March is Fallon's right hand, who's voice was also on point.

I have so much to say about this book but I am not one that will give away spoilers and the only way to really get into the story would be to do that. I will say read it, I am positive that you will love it as much as I did. It has suspense, drama, surprises and humor. I highly recommend this one and I will be listening to this one again because it is that good.

Absolutely loved this book!

Amazingly written. Love Jacob Morgan’s voice. So dreamy.... Muffy also did a amazing job. Glad that this was a duet narration and alway enjoy them more than when it is not. This is my second book from M. Never and happily enjoy them and looking forward to getting more of her books.

Come for the intrigue, stay for the AMAZING narration.

The narration absolutely makes this book. The plot has a few thriller twists and the suspense is good. There’s a CW for childhood sexual assault recounted. The characters are super fun. It’s a little enemies to lovers, a little mafia, and a lot aural pleasure. Jacob Morgan’s Irish accent is on point. And because he voices several other characters, you really get his range. Muffy does badass femme so darn well. I think the real star of the show is Aaron Shedlock. As a supporting character you want to be your own bestie and have your back in life, he just brings another layer that you love to hear. And his character is so crucial to the story and to Fallon’s character development. Do I wish the plot were more fleshed out? I do. Could this have been a trilogy? Yup. Does the lack of depth keep it at 4 stars when it’s a 5 star audio performance? Yes. Is it still a recommend read for me? Also yes.

This gave me all the feels... only the best books bring tears to my eyes! This isn’t the first time M Never had made me cry! Two of my favorite narrators Muffy Newton and Jacob Morgan bring such a good story to life.

I need more

Seriously Jason needs to ALWAYS perform with an Irish brogue. That was like a warm fire. He really has got it all.

YES!! YES!! YES!! I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship between me & M. Never’s books if Dangerously is anything to go by! It was everything I didn’t know I needed. Femme Fatale tropes are officially my new favorite.

Fallon has joined the ranks of my newest favorite Heroines! She’s cunning, deadly, sexy, and totally bada**! Female assassins are my catnip.

Declan is EVERYTHING!! Narrator Jacob Morgan with an Irish brogue as Declan?! YES PLEASE! Who knew a dangerous, dirty-talking gun for hire could have such a huge beautiful heart?!

This book should be called Dangerously Delicious! Because it truly is! I was captivated from beginning to end. Edge of your seat suspense, panty-melting steam, unsuspecting twists and the best ROMANCE! I didn’t know assassin storylines could be so swoony, but here we are! M. Never made it happen and it’s so freaking delicious!

Wow.. wow.. wow M Never you never just settle at giving unique unpredictable stories, never not blow me away with your layered plots and twists and you never ever disappoint me with your interestingly damaged characters.. but this book!! gah, well this book is on a whole new level of awesome. The suspenseful friction, loyal friendship, shocking secrets, seismic chemistry, delicious sexcapades, tension-filled drama, manipulation angst, heartfelt passion, bad-bad-bad bad guys, sad sucker-punches, strong femme fatale heroine and the oh so lickable alpha Irish hero had me riveted from the start. HOWEVER, for me, what absolutely had me visibly drooling was Jacob’s very sexy voice as he narrated the male parts and delivered a totally believable smooth Irish accent in the more natural easy-flowing duet style acting. Yes, I loved Muffy’s portrayal of the badass heroine Assassin and Aaron’s narration in the smaller handler/friend’s parts too.. but Jacob - man you rocked it!!

Worth a credit? It’s a rollercoaster of a romance that isn’t a quick fix and will need more than second-chances. It’s an emotional unpredictable journey where walls will eventually come toppling down. It’s a fast-paced dual POV tearing off and trashing of many many pages until they are both eventually and blessedly on the same one. It’s a tugging to and letting go until finally the sigh-worthy happily ever after. And YES-YES-YES, it’s definitely abso-f’king-lutely 100% creditworthy.
