Once the sheriff gets involved, Willem's past and Murven's general reputation slingshot them both to the top of the list of murder suspects. With a little help from an unexpected ally, they escape custody and fight to clear their names of murder. As the news spreads, every busybody and media hog in the county—family, friend or foe—wants a piece of Willem and Murven's fifteen minutes of infamy.

I think my IQ dropped 10 points listening to this book but still very funny.

Funny- and serious at the same the time

Being the girl whose Mama never let her go to the trailer park, and I WANTED TO SO BAD, this was such an accurate description of the action that took place there!!!

Extremely entertaining beginning to end.

Unique story and entertainment while keeping you guessing. I enjoyed the unique characters of the story.

Performance was great

Good fun story but the constant repeating of “Dang” got to be very very irritating.

Felt like the Duke's a hazard mixed with gumball rally.

Not really worth the read or the listen. It was trying to be funny, but just never quite made The mark.
It was a total rip-off of Cletus Justice and his kid going after Burt Reynolds, or someone.

Smooth storyline

Well written story, with numerous characters and fun storyline. Easy listening. Loved how each chapter ended with the title word.

Great characters

The end left us hanging about Peggy and Wilbur , next book maybe ? Hope there's more like this one

The characters

This book kept me guessing. I was quite shocked to find out who the bad guy was.

Twists, Turns, and Tall Tales

The story maintained a good pace of dialogue and action. Some of the descriptions were difficult to follow, and it would have interesting to know if the BF/F ever became profitable, since that was such a significant element in the first several chapters.

The narration was pretty good, although two of the primary characters sounded almost identical to me.

LOL funny

I have not enjoyed a book this much in a while.
Think Hazzard County with a trailer park.
Light plot. Believable characters. Hilarious. I found myself honestly laughing out loud. The reader is amazing. Each character’s voice is clearly distinguishable.
