Great story…narration - yikes
I agree with a bunch of the other reviewers. The story is very good and gripping. But the narration is just weird. He tried way too hard. If he had just not done the accents, it would’ve been fine.

A wonderful story
It was very well written. It touched my heart the friendship Jacob and Ian had. The story is beautiful in the midst of the horrors they lived through during that terrible time.

Makes me proud to be Polish!
This story was very compelling. The atrocities committed during this time were beyond comprehension. I felt rage and shame at the same time!
I also felt pride that the Polish people, as well as many other nations, took part in helping these prisoners.
The book showcased the best and worst of humanity.
We have a trip to Poland planned for this summer. Auchwitz is on the itinerary and this book has brought a new dimension to the trip.

It is a good story

Great book
One thing that I did not enjoy was the voice. The voice being narrated by an England or Ireland or UK what is not what I was expecting. . For me, the voice didn’t match or fit what was going on .
For the book I would’ve thought it would’ve been more of a European or regular voice. Overall, the book was great. I enjoyed it. I look forward to listening to more of his books.

Excellent
The author does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life, while staying true to major historic events. Not only does the book keep the reader interested, the author does a great job performing the audio recording of his book.

Very worth the read
I was skeptical at first, but I am very glad I choose this group of books WARSAW FURY, TRACKS TO FREEDOM, BEYOND THE TRACKS the characters were very well written and believable. The background history was well researched. Michael did an excellent job of allowing you to become invested and be part of these stories, not just a listener or reader. Thank you and keep writing!
