unique story

love this series a really unique take to the sci fi genre with elements of self discovery and faith intertwined with a story line of chaos. new age way to tell a story old as time. love it

Great listen

This was a fun, action-packed adventure. Intense well-described military encounters with enjoyable characters and a solid story line I found very interesting. The narrator did such a fantastic job as well. He is definitely in my top tier.

always a good story

You fall in the world and do not want to leave. every turn brings you deep sci fi books. now have to wait for the next book.

It gets better

I wasn’t sold on book one but I stuck with it and it gets better. A LOT better!

Military story

Conscript, part 2 by Scott Bartlett by Sci-Fi military space adventures. Mark Boyett did an excellent job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, engaging, enjoyable, action packed and more. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

Good book

I was given a promo code to rate this book. it was so good I went and purchased the other books in the series and recommended it to family members. the entire series is entertaining. I highly recommend

A marine's most difficult battle is with himself

Continuing the story immediately following Conscript, Part 1 (Conscript + Rifleman) we find Marine Po still struggling with numerous conflicting external and internal forces all demanding that he relinquish his will to them. Unsure if he should follow the advice of his squadmates, his commanders, his priest, the strange and wise alien he's rescued, or the nagging alien that appears in his head, Po walks a fine line trying to balance duty and morals, all while his own life is in mortal danger. Conscript, Part 2 (Lance + Corporal) is a brilliantly written and fast maced military sci-fi adventure with well developed characters and alien, yet familiar, surroundings. Once again, Mark Boyett shines as narrator as each voice captures the essence and attitude of the cast, drawing us tighter and faster into the whirlwind of action and danger.
