Excellent story

If you liked “Breath”, you will love this book. Some of the same stories but nested under a different perspective.

Jiu Jitsu is life!🤙

Such an awesome addition to his first book Breathe. Definitely recommend this for anyone who’s a Jiu Jitsu practitioner, or who isn’t but have a fascination with martial arts in general. Jiu Jitsu is more than what you do on the mats, it’s how how you grapple with what life throws at you.

Rickinson Fans Will Enjoy

This book is less about physical Jiu Jitsu and more about the mindset of a Red Belt. You will enjoy it if youre a Gracie fan.

Inspiring!

This entire book was excellent! But the final chapters of this book are very inspiring! The chapter on love to my opponents, was very moving. What a legend Rickson is!

Such a great listen

I loved this book, it was a great listen and I learned so much. This is such great history of BJJ and truly an inspiration to all of us.

Good, but it is Basically a rewrite of, “Breathe”. Would get one or the other.

Good read

If you read “breathe” you will find a lot of repetitive information. It makes sense why it’s been told again, because one might not have read the other book, but since I did, I found it slightly disappointing. The narrator is not my favorite. Very robotic, no emotion shown. Rickson is a flawed man full of wisdom and honor, and jiujitsu is very well represented by him. His life brings many lessons one should take home and apply.

Much more than a BJJ story.

I didn't know a lot about Rickson, other than his amazing fight career and what I have heard from BJJ Professors. His life out of the ring seems harder than in the ring. Great book whether you are a BJJ practitioner or not.
