series going strong.

more of the same events of the previous books but letting time pass faster becuase wars take a long time. I mean that in a good way. many authors get afraid of letting time pass, but it advances the plot nicely. ending so good i may have to see if book 6 is out on kindle.

Just as action packed as the series has been!

I'll admit I had my worries about the continuation as things took a turn to the political bent but I was it was for nothing. Great listen and I can't wait for the next one.

Great end to an arc

It is a lot of fun seeing how John is playing a bigger role in the USA’s liberation. He is really becoming a force to be reckoned with and the conflict is always engaging. I can't give enough praise to Nick Podehl. One of the best narrators out there!

Well done. Well narrated. will be looking forward to the next from this author. The rest of this is just filler. This is more filler.

I enjoyed the book and look forward to continuing to listen to the series.

In this book, John and company deal with various issues caused by the system apocalypse as they work to unite human and alien allies to drive back evil, both alien and human. John is able to advance in skills and knowledge as he becomes a critical asset in freeing the oppressed. Also, he and Lana continue their relationship. This one is a little more sweeping in scope that earlier books as armies are led in battle and summarizes more than earlier books.

Getting sick hearing how racist white people are

I understand racism is a thing I do. It's an awful thing. There never seems to be a racist of any other color and it seems to be a theme of this entire series. Story is good. I'm just getting sick of being to I'm bad for being the way I was born. Still worth reading.

Exciting and better than the last 1!

I know Tao Wong is a newish author, but his books continue to get better than the last one and it shows dedication to his craft and Nick Podehl did excellent narration as usual.

Good but not as good as last 4

Was rushed felt like just an middle book to get us to the next book. Could of had a lot of good side story legs and other stuff to spice it up. Ending was kind of like of everything stopped and book is done what’s happening next?

I love the entire series and I’m binge listening to all of them and can’t get enough.

this was a bit slower than the rest but still amazing and got me so pumped for the next book!!
