An amazing duet narration

Chasing Forever by Piper Rayne was perfect! The duet narration was amazing! The narrators did an awesome job bringing these characters to life! The story made me laugh and cry and gave me all the best feels. I have never read or listened to a Piper Rayne story I didnt enjoy! This was beyond amazing! I highly recommend this book/audiobook, you will not be disappointed!

really cute

I really enjoyed this story. I was a little confused about the timeline though. Lotty was about to marry Brooks brother, Holden, at 19 but he left her at the alter because he was only going to marry her because she was pregnant but she had a miscarriage 3 days before the wedding. 10 years later she drunk married Brooks, the younger brother, who has been in love with her his whole life. he has been friends with her brother and cousins forever. now, she is 35 and he is 34. the math isnt mathing. that's more than 10 years.

the story is really good. Brooks was really patient with Lotty. he knew her better than anyone. he knew he could win her over. Holden really hurt her. it wasn't just Holden though. it was his parents too. the parents were so cruel to her. I think the mother did more damage than Holden honestly. I always get annoyed when a FMC gives up on love and an HEA after one heartbreak, but after learning more (stick with it), you realize it was more than Holden leaving her at the alter (see TW).

this is a sweet story and I think you will really enjoy it. the narrators are excellent. you cant go wrong with these two.

Loved this book. Brooks and Lottie have an epic love story!

The duet narration is perfect for Brooks and Lottie’s story and the narrators are outstanding. Brooks has been in love with Lottie since high school. But his older brother asked her out first. They got engaged. . . But he left her at the alter. At the ALTER!!!!! Then left town. Awful dirtbag. What’s worse? Brooks’ father is the town mayor. His mother is a snippy awful woman. Poor Lottie has been dealing with her feelings of being unwanted and a broken heart for 10 years. Then one drunken night in Vegas she wakes up married to Brooks! She wants an annulment immediately. And now it’s time for Brooks to win her over. I loved this story. Brooks demanding dates with Lottie before he’ll agree to an annulment. Lottie’s family encouraging her to give Brooks a chance. Noir. She’s guarding her heart. It’s a wonderful, romantic, fun story with a beautiful, emotional HEA. Each of the books connected to the Plain Daisy Ranch characters has been a wonderfully entertaining read. This is the best yet I think.

Stephen Dexter (my fave) and by Vanessa Edwin are the perfect Brooks and Lottie. They brought so much individuality and personality to the characters.

I'm going to admit that I added this book to my TBR because of the cover and I am so glad I did. This is my first Piper Rayne book and I absolutely loved it. This is an accidental (or maybe not) drunken vegas wedding, ex-fiance's brother, small town, meddling family, and much more. Sheriff Brooks Watson is the ultimate MMC - he is such a golden retriever, loyal, and has always been in love with Lottie. Sheriff Watson's family (including the brother) are complete garbage. They are just horrible people. Lottie has a big family (brothers, cousins, friends turned family) and I love the messiness and meddling that comes from small town big families. The banter in this book was perfection to me. I loved that Brooks wasn't going to give up so easily, as for Lottie it took her a little too long to figure out and admit what everyone already knew. She was always meant to be with Brooks Watson, even if she tried hard to fight her feelings. I did get where she was coming from after everything that happened with her ex-fiance.
