Capital Fleet - 3 books in one set

There are multiple battles. One right after another. The enemy is larger, with better technology, than the fleet captain Husher is in command of. How will the Galaxy survive? At times the pace is slow to develop. However I did find the books interesting.

Everyone should listen to this.

it doesn't matter your political Viewpoint you should listen to this book or read the physical version and think about what said there's many one-star reviews by close-minded people but if you're brave enough I challenge you to read it and listen to the message inside

Socal Commentary with a Brickbat

While I enjoy space military fiction. I do not enjoy being repeatedly bludgeoned over the head with social commentary, even if I agree with the premise
. If written with more nuanced ideas and characters would have been far more effective. Hard to imagine that in space warfare the captain of a ship would have to give out long streams of verbal orders to get seemingly common actions accomplished. All in all, disappointing.

Amazing story

This collection shows that humanity still lives and that we can coexist with other races.

Excellent story

I look to more from this author and this reader. They go well together. Thank you.

Is it political? Sure, but sci-fi has traditionally challenged the powerful. The cultural issues arising in this story have a basis in the class struggle between those who make and those who take. Stir in the way government swoops in to take advantage of a crisis in order to increase their power and you have a great book that reflects western cultural decline in a possible future.

Umm..enjoyed it, mostly. Politics half baked

I wouldn’t say it was fully ruined by politics…I feel that an editor only tried to clue him in. History does show that the powerful rich don’t much care about us. Protestors who don’t protest by the rich ruler’s rules get stereotyped & smeared. Ultimately the rich absolutely DO rip most of us off. There IS a class which is basically powerless & we all SHOULD seek to change. Kinda naive viewpoint he has. I used to have a lot of it before I “WOKE” (gag, stereotyped, misleading) up to reality. No, I’m not a libtard socialist.

my previous review was negative because I was in a bad place. this is a good set and the writing is not bad. if I am being honest I was overly harsh previously. writing is hard.
