Resumen del Editor

In New Hell, only the monsters survive.

Eden Alvaro is a licensed Vulture, picking through the aftermath of violence in demon-plagued LA, and fencing her finds to help support her family. But when a crooked cop reports her for a salvage she didn’t take, all hell breaks loose.

Stripped of her license, Eden finds herself with a price on her head. When the mercenaries hunting her raid her home, brutalize her family, and abduct one of her sisters, Eden turns to the enigmatic Bishop - a man with a reputation for violence who, for the right price, can find just about anything or anyone.

With time running out to find her sister before she’s sold into slavery, Eden is determined to get her back - even if she has to slaughter her way through a gang affiliated with the traffickers and face down one of the powerful demons in control of the city.

She’ll need every bit of her burgeoning magical powers to bring her sister back alive - and she’ll need to put herself in debt to Bishop. But when it comes to her family, no price is too high for Eden to pay.

Vulture Club.

Best if read after Imp series. Its good to get back into the Imp series. I liked Eden and her foster family. This book had lots of action and thrills. The world building is vivid in my mind and can picture it clearly. After Eden’s sister was kidnapped, she has to kick ass and take names. I look forward to the next books in the series, can’t wait until the cops who set Eden up gets their due. I like that Eden grows to let people in her life as the story progresses. Made we want to reread the Imp series. Narrator is good.

As good as her last Imp series

I really enjoyed this book! The story was well written and kept my attention! I loved Debra Dunbar’s previous Imp series and wasn’t expecting this to rival it. It’s the first book in the series but it’s a great start! I thought the narrator did a good job as well.

Slow start but great beginning to a new series

I’m new to this narrator and found the start of the story a little off, in saying this I feel the narrator seemed to get into character really well as the story progressed. I’m so glad I persisted... the world building was really interesting, and the character development seems promising. I prefer audio books simply because I can be busy while listening to one so I look forward to listening to the next in the series once it’s available. I’m intrigued by some of the other characters and I was definitely left wanting more of this story. Well worth a listen if you enjoy this genre and has so much potential for further world building and side stories perhaps.

Leaves more questions than answers

Story really goes nowhere. She gets set up by crooked cops, which leads a gang to her home looking for product she doesn't have, and to the gang kidnapping her foster sister to sell into human trafficking. The book then is one lead after another of taking up debts and promises. We don't really get any of her true back ground, only questions. Then we get introduced to several people, and demons, but don't get true background, and we are left with questions about them along with questions about the payments and promises. I would call it a flight but the biggest question of saving her sister is answered. Still, no humor and unsatisfactory storyline lead to a okay ending.
