Resumen del Editor

The illegitimate son of the Roman Emperor Tiberius Caesar, Lucius must prove his worth as a captain in Jerusalem in order to win his father’s favor. Instructed to keep the peace during the Passover is proving to be impossible. A man named Jesus had the city in an uproar. All hell had broken loose. Lucius is ordered to scourge an innocent man and lead him to his crucifixion - his only crime? He was said to be the son of God. Doubts begin to cause the veiled resentment to surface, and he wonders what life is really all about. It had to be more than he had experienced. The people of Jerusalem and the Roman government put an innocent man to death, and Lucius helped. It all begins to fall apart when Lucius cannot handle the war raging within himself. As the blood from an innocent man stains his hands, an earth-shattering revelation dawns on him. Has Jesus in fact risen from the dead? Is it possible that everything he ever knew could be wrong? Lucius must find the truth about the son of God....

A Love Story Wrapped In A Love Story

Narrator was excellent!

This is the story of a soldier who participated in the crucifixion even while realizing that YaHshua /Jesus was innocent and questioning what was happening. This is also the story of the woman who loved him enough to stand by him through the Journey. It's a human romance wrapped around the romance of our Savior's sacrificial love for us. It's a love story wrapped in a love story.

One thing I would change is the "hares" which were eaten on the journey along with the Talmidim/disciples. Leviticus 11:6 specifically speaks about hares being unclean. It is clearly spoken by Peter in Acts 10 that he wouldn't eat anything common or unclean. This story is set in a timeframe well before that dream. Better to have them flush out and eat "quail" if a land animal was the author's desired type of food. Otherwise I genuinely enjoyed it.
