In other words, I'll locate someone who is both obscenely overqualified and willing to devote their days to the handful of tasks you are able to wrench from your perfectionist, micromanaging grip. It may be difficult to find a Nobel laureate genius looking for basic filing work on such short notice, but I'll do my best.

Don't worry about your sister's wedding this weekend. I still plan to attend as your date, assuming you've finished hating me by then.

I loved this

I loved this couple. They were both flawed but it didn't get annoying. I loved how they met early in the book and jumped in with both feet.

the only thing I found incongruous was at first he was described as not that into sex and the all of a sudden he's a Dom daddy. that didn't fit for me but no points off cause the sex was hot.

of course the narrators are pros so I trusted them before they even started.

Instant Love Connection!

I am definitely biased, Jason Clarke is my favorite male narrator, but I thought this book was adorable. The moment Zelda and Ash meet, the connection can't be denied. This was also another stellar performance from Emma Wilder as well!

Interesting “Meet Cute?”

Well, maybe not so cute, but definitely memorable.

Zelda and Ash are great characters, as are the other players, especially Ash’s Mother. The story is well developed, and well performed, especially by Jason Clarke. Frankly, wish the whole thing was read by him. Ms. Wilder does not do a male voice as well as he carries off a female voice. ( hence the reduction by 1 star)

Fully developed, Unique Characters with Excellent Duet

So many romance stories leave me with a feeling that the characters were just tropes of themselves and not fully formed personalities. The people here are complex and complicated, funny and wonderful. The only thing that was jarring was that the development the heroine experienced actually takes like 3-5 years of therapy (ask me how I know) and not something that someone learns how to do overnight. But it was still amazing to see that kind of healthy boundary setting in practice!

Funny and sexy!!

This is one of the best romantic comedy listens in some time! This family is hilarious and the couple is super sexy and believable!

Great Story

Absolutely loved this book. It was a great story and really enjoyed the fact that there was very very little drama and when that drama was relieved the couple kept it together and there wasn't any breaking up due to mistrust or insecurities or any bs like that. Loved that the couple met and steadily got to know each other even through their fights. Two of my favorite narrators were excellent as always. Loved that the guy is sexy and confident and a little cocky with little side of something else. Also loved that the woman is sexy, and sweet and confident and goes toe with toe with the guy. Really loved the banter between the couple. I definitely recommend this book and will be re-listening multiple times.

Love this book and the narrators

I had read this book a while back and liked it but I definitely love the audio book!!! The narrators made it sooo much better!!! They really brought this story to life and I couldn’t stop listening to it!!! I love this writer and I can’t wait to go find more of her books. Thank you!!

Nice but rushed

It was cute but felt like it was rushed. They know each other a week and are already talking about marriage which given their personalities and history didn't really make sense for either character. Not a waste of time but not the best story I've listened to.

Great story; wonderfully matched voice talents!

This was a really fun "grumpy, serious guy meets bubbly but smart girl who romps through his life and conquers his heart without even trying". I especially loved the 2 voice talents (one male, one female) who were very well matched in cadence and tone. It really made the story not only enjoyable to listen to, but also believable! The growth of both characters throughout their romance is wonderful and credible; I especially loved the ancillary characters who added a lot of humor and laugh-out-loud moments. I'd love to see this in a movie form with the right cast!
