Yes for a good listen

This story hit the spot for me. Good story, I like the series and characters. I love the narration. She hits all marks.

Surprise ending

Relentless detective work. What will she do without Duncan? Who will have her back? An unexpected surprise ending.

Stick to your guns

solving high profile and cold cases is welcomed but when its your fellow cops who have turned criminal you better watch your back.

Terrific story

Terrific story with a twist. Enjoyed all the characters and the storyline. The narrator was terrific, too.

Danger Within and Without

This is book 2 in the Detective Eve Ronin series. I am really enjoying Lee Goldberg's books, especially the Sharpe and Walker series which are my favorites. Their fire investigations are wonderful. I decided to catch up on Eve's earlier cases. Bone Canyon is book 2, where bones are discovered in a canyon which wind up being tied to a bad brotherhood of deputies in the system where she works. She is focused, driven and trying too hard to prove herself. Her partner Duncan has her back while counting the days to his retirement. I also love the fact that there is a Hollywood connection with agents, directors and more trying to make a show about her. Eve winds up in danger and gets justice for victims. Another great book in the series expertly narrated by the fantastic Nicole Zanzarella.
