Great story, but needed a bit more

Overall, I enjoyed this book. The narration was perfect, as usual with these two.

I always love a good friends to lovers story, especially when it involves too codependent BFFs this one did not disappoint in that department.

There were a couple of plot holes that I wish the author had plugged. For one of them, especially, there was an opportunity here that was lost.

I still recommend the story for fans of friends to lovers stories. Brendan and Paul are so sweet. And bonus, you get to see a little more of Jeremy and Preston.

I’m looking forward to the next installment of the series.

My heart

I loved the story so much. I love the interconnected series how well Andi Jaxon weaved their stories together. And of course Iggy Toma and Teddy Hamilton were amazeballs as narrators.

Again great performances

These two narrators could literally narrate everything else that I read and I would be happy! This story is good, but I loved Hidden Scars the most. Still a very enjoyable read!

Wonderful 2nd book in the series

It seemed from Jeremy's perspection in the first book that Paul's love for Brendon was unrequited so it was wonderful to witness their love blossom in this book. Just as there were difficult things to see with Preston "Hidden Scars" the same could be said of Brendon in "Blurred Lines" - I feel the author tackles them with extreme care and although we witness some of the darker acts of human nature it is balanced with the hard one struggle to see the light and not only survive but thrive long after the abuse. There will be set backs but as long as you have love and acceptance in your life you can continue on and find happiness - these are great takeaways from this series thus far. The 🔥 love scenes also add value...so keep 'em coming...in more ways than one...lol 😉..

Beautiful friends to lovers story

Friends to lovers isn’t usually a favorite of mine, only because it can be done so poorly. But AndI did amazing to my boys Paul & Brendan 🥹

Entertaining and enjoyable story

I really enjoyed this one! Not quite as much as the first, but still a great story and an easy one to read. I loved getting to see what was going on with Paul and Brendon. It was interesting that so much of their timeline crisscrosses with the first book. This can be read as a standalone though. Paul has been in love with Brendon for years but has never said anything and until recently hadn't even hinted that he was anything but straight. Brendon also has feelings for Paul but has never let himself really think about that or give into it as he believes Paul to be straight and thinks that he is too much for someone. I loved Brendon's personality for the most part and absolutely loved how much Paul loved it and who Brendon was. Brendon can be a lot at times for some people and seem sporadic and random with what he does and how he changes topics but it's how his brain works and I loved how Paul appreciated those aspects about him. Brendon also dealt with bullying in high school and it got really bad and led to sexual assault as well. It is something that Brendon has never really dealt with and it comes up during this book. Paul lost his mom in a car accident on his birthday when he was heading to a hockey camp when he was a young teenager and pretty much lost his dad at the same time since his dad totally checked out on him and wasn't around really after that. His grandparents stepped up but that has had a lasting affect on Paul and worrying about people leaving him. Paul and Brendon know they love each other but they have to deal with their insecurities and figure out how to share and communicate through them for it to feel lasting and solid foundation. I loved the support they gave each other and really did enjoy this story.
The narrators did a great job with the story and characters and bringing it to life.

Endearing friends to lovers

While not my favorite trope, I genuinely loved these two and their journey. Brendan’ adorable puppy dog personality and Paul’s steadfast, loving, stability were the perfect balance to each other. While they both faced emotional obstacles from their past, they never let it stop them from supporting each other. Cameos from Jeremy and Preston from Hidden scars and especially the antagonistic friendship between Preston and Brendan was a wonderful fun addition as well. And once again fantastically narrated by Iggy Toma and Teddy Hamilton. Iggy Toma perfectly captures the bubbly personality of Brendan making his character so endearing and Teddy Hamilton was perfect as Paul, supportive and sexy.

Emotional love story

Love these boys, they are so in need not love. just like the first book the characters have traumatic experiences while growing up that change their perception of love. beautiful stories that develop beautiful love and there's Hockey.

Perfection!!

Andi Jackson does it again! These narrators are becoming my absolute favorite as well. There was so much talent put into narrating this story, Just absolute perfection, one of my favorites… so far❤️
