Decent start to a series

The story was good, just a little less than I was hoping for is all. Otherwise, this was a good start to the series and hopefully it gets better as it progresses.

Can’t Wait for More

This has been by far one of the greatest first in a series, type of books I have had the pleasure of listening to.

As someone who has listened to over 150 audiobooks, the writing style from this author is a fresh departure from the norm.

I believe all readers and listeners will feel a connection to the main character as he can’t help but make me remember a close personal friends. Following him on this journey is a lot like following someone you actually care about. It puts you in the passenger seat and forces you to root for him. It creates an emotional connection that was unexpected, but welcomed.

Without a doubt, I am waiting with great anticipation for the second book!

Nice Start to the Series

I hope the main character and his friends are developed in future stories. They were a bit flat. The story is enjoyable enough but nothing mind altering. Sometimes the writing has solid bits but these only occur ever so often. I wanted more of that. Otherwise, this is entertaining and consistent with books in the genre.
