Good story, so-so narration.

Narration was like listening to a news caster or radio talk show host going over current events.

So heartfelt and as always, amazing.

So so good and beautiful, and sweet. The ending is the best, and I have I feeling we'll be seeing more of Ruhn. And more Lassiter lmao

JR Ward hit it out of the Park

ok I've been along for the ride the whole time from the very beginning to the new crew now the newest crew I have too admit not as dark as the John group by just as fierce and intense
These stories have more humor and I absolutely loved it. now I'm getting the book so it can get five stars as well. If you like these stories you'll live this but just like our recent Presidential election I'll not predict anything read it or listen for yourself. Thanks again Ms. Ward waiting on pins and needles for the next story.

I lived it

this was so good...spending time with Rhames, Mary& Biddle was endearing & heartbreak & joy! love that family & Axe is phenomenal

great story line

the character development was excellent. I really enjoyed the storyline it wasn't your typical we want to be together but we can't it was refreshing to have different struggles and barriers to overcome throughout.

one amazing book

loved it. It has it all the bad guy wit a heart of gold. drama love and so much more. it has wonderfully amazing body heat in it as well.

Narration and story, perfect! 5stars.

J.R. Ward just keeps getting better and better and so does the heart and mad skills that Mr. Frangione puts into his performances. The continued story with Bitty, Rhage, and Mary was heartbreaking and heartwarming. The brothers all getting a mention or slight cameo was perfect, and Axe and Elise's story was sweet, super hot and sexy, and action packed as they each grew individually and together. Some moments of tears and self-reflection. Some fantastic laugh out louds with Lassiter and the gang. Just as great as The King and The Beast. I like her early stories and later stories. It was tough for a while in the middle of BDB when the men were so tortured or too mean and destructive (for me at least). These stories of late are harsh, but far more loving and filled with realistic happy endings. Well done, Ms. Ward. Well Done! Couldn't be happier, nor more entertained.
