Crafted and Performed Perfectly

As a narrator myself I keep a few role models. Jonathan Keeble is one of them. His invective, passion and instinctive grasp of the characters in this story - especially the protagonist Khayon - when coupled with Aaron's masterful storycrafting and insight into the characters and their very reasons to exist, will draw you in wholly and completely. I can't listen to anyone read this story aloud other than through Keeble's narration. To me, he *is* Iskandar Khayon, and that is the hallmark of an excellent performer.

Simply Awesome

All Warhammer fans will enjoy this story, fans of all series Hours Hersey 30k or 40k thus story truly rocks..

Loved it. Can't wait for the next in the series. Audible needs more Black Library books.

Great book!

Just as the first installment in the tale of the black legion, this book really moved me, shaping the 40k universe with every minuit of listening. Great novel brought to flourishing life by Keeble's acting skill, fully recommended, but read the first one first, the talon of horus

It’s good, ADB is strong in this book, doing what he does best. One of my favorite series.

Chaos is Cool

What was one of the most memorable moments of Black Legion: Warhammer 40,000?

When they first come upon someone from the Imperium after a thousand years in the warp and realize that the Emperor is now worshiped as a God. They start laughing when they realize that the Word Bearers won after all.

What does Jonathan Keeble bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

If you like his other writings then you’ll love this one! Character development, and the way he weaves his stories are just great! Really capture your imagination!

The best insight into the chaos space marines that there is

This book tells such a good story. The bad guys seemed so human. They were the under dogs trying to what was best for them given the situation they were in.

One of the better books out of the W40K series.

Drew me in right after the first book, this story had plenty of twists and turns. I can't recommend this two-book series enough. You're constantly drawn in by the main character, it's also a refreshing new perspective coming from the eyes of a sorcerer with great power. This last time leaves you wanting a third book. I'm hoping ADB writes a third to compliment this series even more - by the end I felt empty because I wanted to hear more about Iskandar Khayon and the Black Legion.

Also needless to say, this speaks to an entirely different perspective of Ezekyle Abaddon. Casting him in an entirely different light, showing his resistance against the warp and the chaos-powers. Would definitely recommend "talon of horus" and "black legion" to any W40K fan,
