I'm biased

It is a well written story. Brings out parts of characters in the Bible not traditionally examined. A unique perspective.

Only made it to chapter 7.

Absolutely couldn't take another second of it. Normally I love books that we can grow in God. I think it was as much the narration as it was the way it is written.
